PhotoshopWorld AP - Sneakpeek at Photoshop Online Edition
During the PhotoshopWorld Asia Pacific keynote speech this morning, Raymond Lee (Adobe's AP regional director) gave us a sneak-peek into the yet-to-be launched Photoshop online edition. The interface was quite similar to that of Adobe's Kuler. So I assume it's a Flash/Flex application.
The feature-set seemed to be very basic. There were library functions, such as tagging, rating, etc. Simple edits/touching up was possible, for .e.g. color correction, etc. Although I know you can't expect Adobe to work magic, I was a bit disappointed. I guess I was expecting more of the real Photoshop features to be included. From first looks it didn't seem to do anything existing applications couldn't do.
Anyway, it's a great start. Mr. Lee also talked about an online video editor, and a possible deal with YouTube. Also unveiled was the new logo (possibly) of Photoshop. The blue camera/caption looking thingy which is very cool. Unfortunately this low-res image was the only one I could find on it.
